About

A profession here carries a second name

In Karbala, a physician connected to the city is known as the Husseini doctor. An engineer is the Husseini engineer. The title describes more than a line of work — it names a standard of conduct carried in the name of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. Competence and character are expected to arrive together, and the work becomes a calling before it becomes a job.

That standard had not yet reached one of the most consequential fields of our time. Al-Mubarmij Al-Husseini was founded to close the gap — not as an imitation of the older model, but as its natural extension into software: technical skill and Husseini identity in the service of the same community.

We are young, and we would rather say so than dress it up. What we have is a documented plan, a working structure, and the beginning of a track record. Everything on this page is either already true or clearly marked as the direction we are heading.

Where we are today

Founding is complete. The foundation is in its Launch & Training phase — running its first training programs, delivering early applied projects, and building its public presence.

Vision

To become the first and largest reference organization for Husseini programmers in Iraq — a national incubator producing programmers with an authentic Husseini identity, competitive locally and globally, and financially independent.

Mission

We find Husseini youth interested in programming and train them. We unite them with programmers who want to belong to a shared Husseini identity — through quality training, real applied projects, and a professional network, built on a sound organizational structure and sustainable self-generated income. Starting in Karbala, extending to every governorate in Iraq.

    The name is a responsibility, not a slogan. Every member represents Imam Hussein through conduct before representing him through work.

    Technical quality is not optional. A name of this weight demands a matching standard.

    An individual's success is part of the group's success. Internal competition is governed by cooperation, not exclusion.

The foundation holds to a saying attributed to the Prophet Muhammad: mastery in one's work is a form of worship before it is a professional standard.

Programs

Five programs, one mission

These are how the mission becomes practice.

  1. Training and qualification

    A foundations track — programming logic, data structures, version control — followed by specializations in web development, mobile apps, AI and machine learning, information security, and data analysis.

  2. Applied projects

    Real, paid projects for charities, businesses, and religious institutions. They build members' portfolios and generate the income that funds the foundation.

  3. Professional networking

    An exclusive job and freelance board for members, plus regular meetups with technology companies and institutions.

  4. Community activities

    Hackathons, training bootcamps, and coding competitions, timed with major Husseini occasions such as Arbaeen to reach Karbala's large annual gathering.

  5. Knowledge content

    Arabic-language educational articles and videos for Iraq's wider programming community, establishing the foundation as a trusted reference.

One foundation, five directions

Nobody specializes first. Everyone passes through the same foundations track, and branches from there.

Foundations

Programming logic, data structures, and version control.

    Interfaces, servers, and the systems that join them.

  2. Mobile apps

    Software for the device most of Iraq actually uses.

  3. AI & machine learning

    Models, data pipelines, and the judgment to know when not to use them.

  4. Information security

    Defending systems, and the ethics that have to come with it.

  5. Data analysis

    Turning records an organization already holds into decisions it can defend.

How this page is made

The pattern is code

Nothing on this page is a stock texture. Every line of the geometry is generated from the method the craftsmen used, called polygons in contact.

Lay down a tiling. Strike a point at the midpoint of every edge. From each point send two lines inward, both at the same angle to that edge. Let every line run until it meets another, and stop it there.

That is the entire rule. The stars are never drawn — they are what is left once every line has been stopped by its neighbours. No tile is told what its neighbours are doing. They agree because they follow the same rule.

Symmetry

One module, three jobs: it renders to SVG during the build so the pattern is in the HTML before any script runs, to WebGL for motion and light, and to PNG for the link preview. They cannot drift apart, because there is only one of it.

Financial model

The foundation runs on a self-funding model: income from paid programming services, training courses, and technical consulting, supplemented by symbolic supporting memberships and voluntary community contributions.

Any surplus is reinvested fully into programs and infrastructure. None is distributed as personal profit.
